Call It Fête is a cosy, queer British romance set in the idyllic fictional village of East Beechmill, Devon. Gay and single, Alexander Webster unexpectedly finds himself parenting his six-year-old nephew. In an attempt to fit in with the Perfect Parent Club and to make up for his past mistakes, he joins the school’s Parent Teacher Association. Paired with Nathaniel Jameson, the sexy newcomer to the village, he works to raise the most money for the new school playground. Along the way, Alex has to navigate his unexpected feelings for his kid’s teacher, his difficult relationship with his mother, and coming to terms with losing someone close to him. 

The story explores the themes of love, loss, family, and acceptance, all while basking under the temperamental weather only a British summer can give you.
